Classroom:


The above sessions are classroom only. The hours are from 8:00 AM until 3:30 PM. The students will have a 30 minute lunch break at noon each day. They may bring their lunch or eat out. We allow each student to pick from selected menus and a driver is sent to pick it up. The Monterrey location does not have fast food within walking distance.We do have a microwave oven, refrigerator, soft drink machine,  and candy machine.





 Behind the wheel:

Driving lessons will be scheduled in three two-hour lessons. The student will be picked up and dropped off at home or school if they live within East Baton Rouge parish. If they live outside the parish, we will arrange a specific pick up and drop off point. The student's driving lessons will be scheduled upon completion of the classroom sessions, provided payment has been made in full. During the school year, because of limited hours available to drive, it takes approximately six to eight weeks to complete the behind the wheel training.

(NOTE: Entire fee must be paid AND classes completed before driving lessons are scheduled.)

 

The full drivers education program is required for students
fifteen and sixteen before obtaining a learner's permit.
*** Effective January 1, 2009, no student shall start the class at 14 years of age. ***
If you are seventeen or older you can take the 30 hour classroom
and 6 hours behind the wheel course. The fee for this course is $395.

Our business office is at 9343 Florida Blvd. Suite C (next to Vision For Less). Office hours are 8:30 - 4:30 Monday - Friday.
